Advanced Open Water Diver Course

 The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver eLearning is designed to improve your underwater knowledge and skills. You can enrol immediately after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification regardless of your skill level.  

The path to becoming a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver consists of two steps:

1. Academic eLearning study at home 6 - 8 hours.
2. Complete five Adventure Dives:

• Deep dive (beyond 18m/60F)
• Navigation dive.
• Three additional Adventure Dives of your choice from the lisr below, earn your certification. 
• Dry suit, Wreck, SMB, Nitrox, PPB, Search & Recovery.

 These Adventure Dives correspond to the first dive of a related PADI Specialty course, all dives are carried out at Stoney Cove.

PADI eLearning® on your own, from the comfort of your home, read, watch videos, and take quizzes at your own pace to develop knowledge of scuba diving fundamentals before you work with one of our PADI Instructors in the pool. 

Five open water dives are required to complete the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, with Go Dive training, these take place at the National Diving Centre at Stoney Cove in Leicestershire.

These dives usually take place over a single weekend, with two / three dives on the Saturday and two on the Sunday.

As well as these dives being an opportunity for you to show your instructor your mastery of the skills and procedures, you will also gain more experience diving in the real world with fish and wrecks. 

On successful completion of these dives, you will be a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.

We will provide all the equipment you need for the training.

To enrol on a PADI Advanced Open Water course, you must be a (Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver or qualifying certification) you must be at least 12 years old. You need to be in good physical health.

This is the standard Advanced Open Water Course offered by Go Dive Training. It typically takes place over a single weekend, the open water dives are held at Stoney Cove. 

Option 2 (Specialty Upgrade) Course – See Price List.

As Option 1 plus an upgrade to include one of the following PADI Specialty courses:

· Dry Suit Diver £

· NITROX £

· First dive of the Specialty counts as one of your Adventure Dives.

· 6 Dives over 2 days.
